SAN TAN VALLEY — A San Tan Valley man was arrested Wednesday and charged with four counts related to sex crimes against a child.
Kristopher Gregory, 28, was taken into custody Wednesday evening by Pinal County Sheriff’s Office deputies at a residence in San Tan Valley.
He was taken to the PCSO substation on Hunt Highway in San Tan Valley. According to a police report, approximately 30 minutes after he arrived at the substation, he gave a “full confession verbally and in writing” after being read his Miranda rights.
The alleged crimes were committed on several occasions over the past two to three years. This includes an incident last month when the victim was 8 years old, on at least two separate occasions in 2018, and also once previously when the victim was 5 or 6.
During his interview with a PCSO detective, Gregory reportedly admitted to going into the victim’s room last month after everyone else in the residence was asleep. He said he removed the blanket from the victim’s body and touched her inappropriately on multiple parts of her body.
On a previous occasion, which occurred when the victim was 5 or 6, Gregory said he instructed the victim to perform sexual acts on him. Gregory said it was the only time this happened; however, the victim said it happened at least twice.
Gregory was subsequently booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on one count of molestation of a child, one count of luring a minor and two counts of dangerous crimes against children.
