SAN TAN VALLEY - The J.O. Combs Unified School District is proud to host a ribbon cutting and open house event to celebrate the grand opening of its new District Office on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
The event will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm. at the new office, 43371 N. Kenworthy Road, in San Tan Valley. The community is invited to join elected officials, district administration, project partners, and other stakeholders as they gather for celebratory remarks and a ribbon cutting, followed by facility tours and a catered reception.
"This is truly a special occasion for our District to showcase our new home and celebrate our local voters who made this project possible," said Superintendent Greg Wyman. "Our new District Office, along with the several other beautiful projects completed over the last four years, will continue to elevate our presence in the community and represent our continued growth and ongoing commitment to serving our students by providing them with the best experience, every day."
The district office marks the last of several new construction projects made possible by the support of San Tan Valley voters in the 2016 bond election. The $6 million, 20,000 square-foot building is the new centralized hub for district operations housing open work spaces, conference rooms, meeting spaces, and a board room for meetings and other functions.
Other projects recently completed through the support of bond funds include the Transportation Warehouse Facility and Combs Performing Arts Center.
Attendees are asked to RSVP by email or phone to (480) 987-5310.
