SAN TAN VALLEY — Combs High School’s 8th Annual Homecoming parade and festivities will be held Friday.

The event festivities, themed “New York, New York: Night Life in the City” will include a community parade and tailgate in the parking lot of Combs High School followed by the football game. The event is open to the public for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash to play games and activities for a chance to win prizes.

The festivities get started at 4:30 p.m. with a tailgate event in which clubs and sports teams will have games to play and prizes to win.

The parade will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Ranch Elementary north on Kenworthy Road, east on Germann Road to the Combs High School parking lot.

Kickoff for the football game versus Tempe High School is 7 p.m. at Combs High School Stadium.

“Our annual Homecoming festivities are the perfect opportunity for students, alumni, and community members to celebrate Combs and enjoy events as a San Tan Valley community,” said J.O. Combs School District Superintendent Greg Wyman. “We look forward to seeing our families and community support Combs High School on Friday.”
