APACHE JUNCTION — Joseph Dwayne Boothman, 52, of Chandler, has been arrested for robbing an Apache Junction woman, not once but twice.

According to charging documents, Boothman is accused of stealing a woman's Kia Soul car, her credit card, resisting arrest and assaulting a Pinal County Sheriff's Office deputy when he was first arrested on Dec. 27. Boothman allegedly returned on New Year's Day and is accused of domestic violence aggravated assault on the same woman followed by robbing her and taking her vehicle again.

He was arrested on Jan. 8 when police located him in Maricopa County.

He remains in the Pinal County Adult Detention Center pending the posting of a $25,000 secured bond.
