SIGNAL PEAK — On Jan. 15, a ribbon cutting was held at Poston Butte High School signifying the official launch of CAC Connect, A Poston Butte Educational Partnership, a press release from Central Arizona College said.

CAC Connect is a new partnership formed between Poston Butte High School and CAC that provides an office space in the high school Career and College Center where college advisers, academic departments and recruiters will meet with students during normal school hours.

The program will allow CAC staff and faculty the opportunity to assist high school students with the exploration of career options, applying online and registering for classes. Students will have convenient access to interact with high school and college staff simultaneously from the comfort and familiar space of their high school.

“We are pleased to collaborate with Poston Butte High School to enhance student learning and to assist students in pursuing their academic goals through higher education. CAC Connect will provide a true learning community for students,” said Jackie Elliott, CAC president.
