QUEEN CREEK — Maryland 7th District congressional candidate Kim Klacik will be a featured speaker at a Fourth of July theme event at the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens, 25002 S. 206th St., on Saturday., Oct. 17.
The free event, which features fireworks, music, speeches and other activities, aims to "make up for canceled summer events, including the 4th of July," a press release from event organizers said.
"We started AZ Freedom and Family because we believe in our country and our constitution," a press release from event organizers said. "That's why we wanted to have Fourth of July in October before our election to celebrate just how extraordinary this place we call home is."
As well as Klacik, other speakers and expected attendees are Arizona Rep. Andy Biggs, GOP Chair Kelli Ward, Maricopa County sheriff candidate Jerry Sheridan and state Rep. Walt Blackman.
Conservative talk show host James T Harris and Alex Clark, host of “POPlitics,” a show on Instagram, are also featured speakers.
Country musician James McCoy Taylor and DJ performing duo Prince Ivan will host the event and perform.
Tom Hatten, known for his court battles to open his chain of gyms (Mountainside Fitness) as well as all other commercial gyms in the state, is also expected to speak.
