Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

A recent letter to the editor was riddled with erroneous information. If the public doesn’t keep itself educated on true facts, not just, “I read an article online that is a little upsetting," our republic is truly in danger of being lost, and sooner rather than later.

First of all, hydroxychloroquine is an FDA-approved drug with at least a 50-year history of use for fighting malaria around the world. It, along with hundreds of other drugs, has been shown to have efficacy in treating issues beyond just what was originally intended. And, all drugs have possible side effects.

Secondly, President Trump has always donated back his government salary, so the idea that he would be concerned about a little income or political donations from a “small personal interest” in a drug company is absurd.

It would be laughable, if it weren’t so sad, that Slater refers to “corruption” in the White House when President Trump took over the reins from the most corrupt administration in modern American history. The reprehensible Obama-Biden crimes make Nixon’s look like schoolboy pranks. Since he first took office, President Trump has been trying to clean up the entrenched Obama-Biden Washington swamp.

And now, the fact that the Democrats are close to choosing the shady Obama administration’s former VP as their candidate for the presidency is mind-blowing. Talk about contempt for the Constitution, that administration was expert at it. The shenanigans that Biden pulled in the Ukraine and China are absolutely unbelievable. Soon a part of Obama-Biden scandals will become so public that even the (mostly) corrupt unethical media in this country will be unable to cover it up any longer. That is what should concern all Americans: Democrat, Republican and independents.
