Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:
I recently returned from a trip to three Nigerian orphanages. I have done this annual trek almost every December for several years now, thanks to the generosity of several friends and members of the community. During this past visit I saw a big improvement in the lives and living conditions of these helpless children.
Indeed, I owe a debt of gratitude to the local Knights of Columbus Council 3136 of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Community, Mr. Michael Jackson (BeDillon's Restaurant), Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nunnink, Ms. Mary Peoples, Ms. Jennifer Nixon, Mrs. Nixon, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Solberg, Mrs. Emilia Haro, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Mackenzie, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Zdanowicz, Mr. Dan Torres, Mrs. Noemi Costales, Mr. Bradley Koonse, Dr. and Mrs. Celestine Asota, Mr. and Mrs. Tochukwu Okafor, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ibeh and several others too numerous to mention, but you all know who you are. I am truly grateful for all your support, I could not have done this without you.
