Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

I was surprised to see a recommendation from Dr. Damon Dell’Aglio (“Dry climate, heat can catch up to those not ready” by Rodney Haas) to consume energy drinks to combat symptoms of overheating. Energy drinks contain excessive amounts of caffeine and as such have been known to cause harm to healthy people. I am hoping he meant to say sports drinks, which actually contain electrolytes and are meant for rehydration purposes.
