I have never, in 50 years of being involved in politics, seen so many politicians pass the buck as I have in the last 20 years. Now is the time for the leader of Maricopa to write a plea in our newspaper and beg people not to hoard. Tell them why. Tell them about all the people who are not getting access to the basics of life. FOOD! Where has our courage gone with being leaders?
From Washington down, I have never seen so much lack of courage. All they do is deflect and place the burden on someone else. If billionaires want something, they buy a politician. If the common public wants something ... we have to beg. Hoarders are not going to donate. People that can’t get enough food for their families can’t donate. What has truly happened that our politicians only report out when things are going good. When things are bad, they hide. Afraid of losing voters if they show courage?
