This is in response to “Our rights taken away,” which appeared on Saturday, in which the letter writer complained that due to stay-at-home orders, the government has eroded his rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Obviously, the rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness are more important to him than the right to life. He still has the right to go out without a mask, gather close and shake hands with a group of like-minded people, breathe in the COVID-19 virus from a non-symptomatic carrier, take it home to his family, get sick as a dog and die. Who’s stopping him?
