Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

The furor over what the media has deemed "incitement to insurrection" has been shown to be a hollow charge. A federal prosecutor who was present at the speeches President Trump made to the crowd has written an article on the opinion page of today's Wall Street Journal, dismissing the charges as baseless. I am reminded of the words of William Shakespeare in his play "Julius Caesar," specifically Mark Antony's eulogy.

"Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears,

I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him,

The evil that men do lives after them,

the good is oft interred with their bones.

So let it be with Caesar [and Donald J. Trump!]"

Also remember when you, your family, your friends and coworkers, your neighbors and the world around you go to get your lifesaving COVID-19 shot, it was President Trump who energized the private labs to develop a vaccine in his "Operation Warp Speed," which was accomplished in the unheard of time of less than nine months. This, while Joe Biden sat in his basement!
