The writer references the Ten Commandments as “the basic, fair rules and regulations …” I would like to respectfully remind the writer that former president trump has violated at least five of those Ten Commandments: thou shall not bear false witness (I.e., thou shall not lie); thou shall not commit adultery; thou shall not covet …; thou shall not steal; thou shall not kill (at least 100,000 Americans died unnecessarily because of trump’s mishandling of the COVID crisis). So yes, let’s “stop the lies,” starting with the false claim that “they want us to believe that all abortions are to save the life of the woman.” No one is saying that. If, as the writer claims, “it is not all about me … it’s about us,” perhaps she could expand her definition of who exactly is “us.”
