Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

There are two articles in the Dec. 26 issue of the Dispatch that show the bias of the news media against President Trump. The two AP articles refer to the GOP blocking the $2,000 COVID relief bill and President Trump playing golf while the relief bill hung in the balance. President Trump sent the bill back to Congress because there was only $600 going to U.S. citizens and too much pork in the bill going to foreign countries. The bill was rejected by the Republicans because the Democrats, along with some Republicans, refused to remove the aid going to many other countries for superfluous projects. I feel this money should be going to small businesses and the American people, not to foreign countries. The House and Senate have had months to pass this bill but waited to the last minute, thinking they would pressure President Trump into signing it.

The AP articles show their bias and try to put the blame on President Trump because he was playing golf. What else is he going to do, twiddle his thumbs waiting for the House and Senate to pass a sensible bill? News is facts, not biased opinions.
