Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:
As an eight-year citizen of Casa Grande, I am writing in support of Councilwoman Donna McBride and ask that you vote for her to remain on Casa Grande’s City Council.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Donna all eight of the years that I’ve been in Casa Grande. I have come to know, and appreciate, Donna’s passion and commitment to Casa Grande. Whatever the event or fundraiser, Donna and her husband are there, serving as examples of involved, caring residents. She has dedicated many years to serving her community — strongly believing that you get out of your community what you put into it — as evident by her involvement with groups such as the city’s Police Advisory Board, Casa Grande Youth Commission, Parks and Recreation Board and Casa Grande Alliance Inc.
During her four years on City Council, Donna has worked hard to ensure the council works as one council for the benefit of the city. Her dedication is evident in how she approaches, researches and deliberates the myriad of issues brought before City Council. She is passionate about youth, education, culture and the history of this city. Her perspective embraces diversity and her focus has always been to reflect what is in the best interests of Casa Grande.
I can say without reservation that Donna McBride is still what this city needs. I ask you to join me in voting for Donna McBride for a second term as a member of the Casa Grande City Council.
