Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:
As a citizen of Casa Grande, I am proud to endorse Donna McBride for re-election to the Casa Grande City Council. Her passion, dedication and hard work for the goals and objectives of the City Council and her involvement, both professionally and as a volunteer, to children and youth, have been well documented over the years.
She does her homework on the issues and brings knowledge, common sense and civic leadership to issues such as infrastructure, competitive workplace, affordable housing, responsible growth, the homeless and youth.
Prior to being a City Council member, Donna’s extensive volunteer work and community involvement earned her a mayor’s proclamation in 2016 for Donna McBride Day. She has been chairperson of the Casa Grande Alliance, a Police Advisory Board member, Parks and Recreation Board member and Casa Grand Youth Commission adult adviser.
Her past work with feedback from teens on the Youth Commission became the springboard for a growing discussion of what a community center would look like. One of Donna’s proudest achievements has been working with the council to achieve our new Casa Grande Community Recreation Center.
Because of her steadfast commitment to public service, her dedication, positive spirit and compassion, I urge you to vote for Donna McBride to continue working for our city in her second term as councilwoman.
