Allow faith to flourish

Editor:

No faith to be allowed in much of America is their, not our, official government new universal mindset!

If the meaning (purpose) of having public laws/property means getting rid of items expressing this country’s, this people’s, long-held faith in good, better known correctly as Almighty Person God to Christians, Jews, Muslims, and other faith-based beliefs, then I have to suggest the real answer to the perceived “problem” is not before the weak-kneed U.S. Supreme Court but is much simpler. Get rid of “public” land. It is the newcomer at hand.

The Court’s new, so-called “favorable” decision only holds for already-erected, established, old monuments, etc., and fails to uphold as it should the very purpose of the First Amendment: to allow/encourage faith to flourish in America! Instead of their being, as in Britain when Americans revolted, only the one official way (official church) to have thereby faith/only one recognized by law way to believe! Hostility — as in this instance — to all faith as here is just one such tyranny (and treasonous).

God bless America.
