Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:
In his recent letter to the editor, Peter Clark demonstrates the misunderstanding most prevalent surrounding the concept of universal health care, or as it is more commonly known, Medicare for All. As I understand it, Medicare for all is not intended to be a health care delivery system. It will function much the same as current Medicare in that it will provide medical insurance for a fee the same as current Medicare. All the noise about the dangers of socialized medicine address an entirely different issue. I would urge people to do their own research and obtain the facts about these two entirely different approaches to universal health care before jumping to erroneous conclusions.
