Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:
Regarding our Arizona lawmakers’ dilemma on how to spend state money, try putting aside partisanship and do what is best for Arizona taxpayers. List the state priorities, and budget the funds. Lawmakers talk about education, farming, state debt and infrastructure, etc. Quit being politicians and be public servants, representing the people.
Tax dollars are not your money but funds to run the state for the betterment of the populous. Or, why not cut state taxes to 1% and again impose fees to increase the state coffers as you did with the vehicle registration fee? You can then say you cut taxes and increased state funding. Problems solved, except you aren’t fooling anybody. Just a thought.
