Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

In recent news reports, Sheriff Mark Lamb admitted to receiving a donation from the Knorr family prior to halting a tax forfeiture but says he didn’t cash the check so as “not to get anyone in trouble.” Campaign finance documents show that Lamb received two donation checks from the Knorr family after halting their forfeiture. Lamb saying that cashing the first check could get people in “trouble” fits the law’s requirement for ‘mens rea,’ or knowing that the actions one is taking are wrong.

I was Lamb’s 2016 campaign manager and am appalled by his corruption and immorality and have been asking that he resign for over two years.
