Maricopa's Mayor Price apparently cannot in "conscience" mandate wearing face masks in public. During a global pandemic and declared national public health emergency from a deadly virus and with increasing (not flattening) numbers of COVID-19 cases and deaths locally since re-opening, my conscience tells me Mayor Price, et. al, passed the buck, just as the Governor did. It is now up to local businesses and other organizational entities to not only provide public health and safety, but to police and enforce them, as well. My conscience tells me this is extremely irresponsible leadership for the public health and safety of Maricopans, particularly with schools opening in a few weeks.
