How are we going to keep Historic Florence historic if our supervisors choose to spend $63M to fund ultra modern offices? I’m not sure what all of the offices are supposed to look like but the rendering of new County Attorneys Office (at a cost of $17M) is a glass/mirror modern architecture building which may look impressive in the proper setting but since we have been trying to promote our town as a historic community, isn’t it counterproductive to spend millions of dollars on this ultra modern look?

Surely new buildings could be built that had exterior appearance that would better promote the Historic Florence theme.

Not only would these buildings be out of place in our town but they are also a safety hazard that reflects light badly, blinding drivers as they pass by especially at sunrise and sunset.

Thank you,
