The Casa Grande Dispatch: “Faith-based programs part of effort to reduce recidivism.”

“For nearly 12 years, Ryan Hall had been in and out of the Arizona prison system serving time for a variety of drug-related offenses ... his last prison stint was a blessing ... he joined a prayer group and adopted biblical principles in an effort to turn his life around.”

Noah Webster (1758-1843) compiled the “American Dictionary of the English Language.” Webster’s “Blue-backed Speller” books were the standard for American schools, 1783-1933.

He wrote: "Any system of education ... which limits instruction to the arts and sciences and rejects the aids of religion in forming the characters of citizens, is essentially defective. In my view, the Christian religion is the most important and one of the first things in which all children, under a free government, ought to be instructed ... No truth is more evident to my mind than that the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people.

Hello! Teach biblical principles to our children to greatly reduce the number who become criminals!
