Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

I read on Facebook that we, as Coolidge residents, should be proud and respectful of our city.

In 1963, we made the decision to move to Coolidge instead of another city. The reason was that the town was charming, clean and residents were friendly.

What happened to the pride? What happened to the beauty?

In every street, I see houses littered with tons of trash. I live next door to such a place. It is a total lack of respect to fill one's yard with junk and expect neighbors to live with it.

Why do we have city codes if they are not being enforced.

What is the next step, city manager? Mayor? Or just talk.

Wake up, Coolidge.

Anny Kinnard
