Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:

The Pinal Partnership is the mouthpiece for Rio Tinto and other mining corporations trying to get the copper that lies in our watershed and near our own homes.

You will never hear them mention arsenic or lead, mercury and other heavy metals that are now going to be flowing down that beautiful wash behind your backyard in future monsoons.

You won't hear them mention how compliant they are with EPA rules and regulations. Those lies are just a bridge too far.

And you won't hear how right after they extract those billions of dollars worth of copper, they file for bankruptcy protection because they won't be able to afford to keep their promises about their cleanup after they extract the money.
