Editor, Casa Grande Dispatch:
I am disappointed that Steve Miller did not have the confidence to speak to me in person about the complaints he raised in his letter of June 25.
I have always made it a priority to work closely with the Pinal economic development office, the county manager and the supervisors to bring new business to Pinal County. The results of our teamwork can be seen by the arrival of Nikola, Lucid Motors, Tractor Supply Company and Nacero, among many other projects. Pinal County has a bright economic future!
Arizona state law requires that agricultural property must be reviewed every four years. I took an oath of office to follow state law and that is what I am doing. Property valuation appeals have declined dramatically since you elected me as your Pinal County assessor.
I would like to thank the staff of the Assessor’s Office for their hard work and dedication to the taxpayers of Pinal County. Their efforts have allowed the Board of Supervisors to lower the property tax rate this year.
