In 1945 she married Robert Posey and started a family. They had three children, Steve of Tucson, Ed (deceased in 1997) and Kathy Schoentag of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Survivors also include four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as a sister, Margie of Farmersville, California. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Wayne, Donald and Larry, and a sister, Lorene.
She started working at Valley National Bank in 1965 in Casa Grande and moved to Prescott to continue working at VNB. She was the bank's Southern Arizona District Teller of the Year in Tucson in 1986. She retired in 1990. Throughout her life, she was a devoted Christian and attended the Church of Christ. Her goal in life was to go home to be with the Lord.
