COOLIDGE — Vernon Ray Vaughn, 59, of Coolidge died on Aug. 21, 2019, in Phoenix.
Mr. Vaughn was born to Arvie Vaughn Sr. and Dorothy Vaughn on April 2, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was very friendly and always there to help anyone in need. He enjoyed working in the community and was always working in the Coolidge Community Garden. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include six adult children, Kayvonia and Kevonia Mathis, Carisa Daniels, Vernice Vaughn, Nathaniel Knight and Luria Jackson, and 15 siblings, Patricia Vaughn, Visa Vaughn, Mureline Vaughn Hursey, Brittany Vaughn, Debbie Vaughn, LaCole Hendrix, Rachel Vaughn, Ricky, Randy, Roy, LaShwan, Jerry, Anthony, Gerald and David Vaughn. Preceding him in death were three siblings, Arvie Vaughn Jr., Dorothy Cade and Charity Vaughn.
Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, with funeral following at 10, officiated by Bishop Vince Smith, at New Destiny Christian Center. Interment in Heritage Valley Memorial Park.
