MARICOPA — Uwe Hamm, 69, died on Nov. 10, 2021, in Maricopa.

Mr. Hamm was born on June 22, 1952. He experienced many great things. Some of his favorites included a Cubs World Series win and an amazing career with Xerox, but his most cherished was his family.

He had a knack for puzzles and challenges. His family said he was the definition of a sincere soul.

He was predeceased by his parents, Heinz Georg Hamm and Maximilijana Hamm; a sister, Gunda Wichert; and his brother and best friend, Jimmy Hamm. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Jeny; four daughters and sons, Karl Hamm, Amanda Hamm, Anita Youmara and Danny Youmara; two sisters, Marion Bodam and Bridget Schelle; and two grandchildren.

Funeral at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, at St. Peter Cathedral, Assyrian Church of the East, 17334 N. 63rd Ave. in Glendale.
