CASA GRANDE — Teodoro Diaz, 83, of Casa Grande died peacefully with his loving family by his side on June 21, 2020.
Mr. Diaz was born on April 20, 1937, in Contreras, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Maria Luisa and Cirilo Diaz. He loved his family and friends dearly and loved to help friends and family whenever he could. He owned a successful landscaping business in Los Angeles for more than 23 years. He sold his business to a nephew to relocate to Arizona to be with his wife and children. The business is still successful to this day.
He was a baseball fanatic and his favorite professional team was the Diamondbacks. His passion evolved from being a player himself to coaching his son and being able to watch his grandsons play on multiple levels of Little League and club baseball.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dora; a son and two daughters, Eliazar, Laura and Lorena; two sisters, Margarita and Maria de Jesus; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six siblings, Merced, Carmen, Guillermo, Ramiro, Victoria and Roberto.
