CASA GRANDE — Tanner Nicolas Perez Prater, 22, died on Jan. 31, 2020.
Mr. Prater was born and raised in Casa Grande and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School. He was working toward a Certificate in Management at Central Arizona College on a scholarship. He worked as a meat cutter at Safeway and loved his job.
He liked to travel and treasured his time with family and friends. He enjoyed meaningful talks, hugs and selfies. He also liked to dance and make music. He loved seafood and hated onions. Described as funny and random, he loved life. He loved Jesus and never stopped dreaming.
Survivors include his parents, George A. and Nikki (Perez) Burns of Casa Grande; four siblings, Alissa Romero of Casa Grande, Meghan Prater of San Diego, Cosmo Apodaca and Samantha Apodaca of California; and grandparents, Jesus Perez and Alicia, Wanda and Papa John. He was preceded in death by his biological father, Steven G. Prater, and his grandma Tomasa Perez.
Visitation beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Passion Church, with funeral at 11.
