CASA GRANDE — Sharron Eileen Wentz Tobin, 65, died on Oct. 28, 2021, after a brave six-year battle with cancer.

Mrs. Tobin was born to Shirley and Delmar "Stump" Wentz of Ryot, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 3, 1955. She went to York School of Nursing and became a registered nurse right after high school. She worked at multiple hospitals, mostly in the emergency department. She spent the last 15 years at Casa Grande (Banner) Regional Medical Center until she retired after 40-plus years of nursing.

She married Herbert "Toby" Tobin in 2005 and they lived in Casa Grande. She spent her whole life caring for others and giving to those she loved. She was a little eccentric, loved a bargain and always had a smile on her fuchsia lips. She enjoyed time with family, traveling with Toby, especially on the Harley-Davidson, and was a member of United Methodist Church of Casa Grande.

She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Dwight Wentz; and a son, Michael Clawson. Her survivors are her husband; two daughters and a son, Kathryn Johnson, Jared Clawson and Pennie Hausele; her mother, brother Bernard and sister Linda Moles, all of Bedford County, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Dec. 11 at Casa Grande United Methodist Church.

Donations may be made to Valley Humane Society.
