CASA GRANDE — Sean Michael Kelly, 52, died on Oct. 16, 2019, at home in Casa Grande.
Mr. Kelly was born in Davenport, Iowa, to Michael F. and Diane F. Kelly on Feb. 21, 1967. He worked for Dr. Nephi Riordan at ChiroHealth in Casa Grande as a licensed massage therapist for 10 years. Before moving to Arizona, he worked for Leo Grosjean's auto body repair and Hoffman Silo, both in Muscatine, Iowa.
He was passionate about physical fitness and worked out at the local CrossFit Arizona gym, where he helped inspire and motivate others. He loved the Lord and was a member of CrossRoads Church in Casa Grande, which he regularly attended. Riding his Harley brought him peace and a sense of freedom. He incorporated this love of riding with his love for the Lord by being an active member of Casa Grande Humble Servants Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association, an international organization whose mission is to "share and show the love of Jesus Christ to motorcyclists."
He was a 1985 graduate of Wilton High School in Iowa and received a technical certificate in auto body restoration from Scott Community College in Davenport. He also graduated from Apollo College in Phoenix to be a licensed massage therapist. He touched many lives in his short but full and intense journey through life.
Survivors include his father, of North Carolina, and mother, of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by grandparents Lauren and Annette Freyermuth and Kathy Oveson.
Celebration of life at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at CrossRoads Church in Casa Grande.
