CASA GRANDE — Robert Eugene Brown, 73, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 20, 2019, of the effects of Parkinson's disease.
Mr. Brown was born on Oct. 24, 1945, in Fairbury, Nebraska. He lived in this area since 1954 and also lived in Kansas, Nebraska and New Mexico. He worked at the Phelps Dodge copper mine in Ajo and most recently was owner of Pro-Clean Carpet & Janitorial.
He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, having served on the USS Saint Paul, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include a son, Dylan Brown; four daughters, Angela Cantu of Buckeye, Melinda Brown-Vega of Eloy, Samantha Brown of Phoenix and Susan Smith of Tennessee; two sisters, Nancy Roland of Oregon and Lucinda Roland of Nebraska; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela; and a son, Robert Brown Jr.
Funeral arrangements pending, with burial in Ajo.
