COOLIDGE — James “Pat” Wuertz, 61, of Coolidge died peacefully at his home on Nov. 6, 2019, with his family by his side.
Mr. Wuertz was born on March 21, 1958, in Florence. He was raised in Coolidge and graduated from Coolidge High School. He worked for Pinal County for over 30 years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, golf, hunting, fishing, camping and cooking. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and visiting with people.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Darlene; two sons, Jacob and Peter Wuertz; two sisters, Kris Gillespie and Sandy Waldo; and four grandchildren. Preceding him in death was a brother, Michael Wuertz, and his parents, Wilma and Grant Peterson and Dennis Wuertz.
Funeral officiated by the Rev. Ann H. Tofani at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. Burial in Heritage Valley Memorial Park in Coolidge.
