ELOY — Patricia “Pat” (Zaragoza) Figueroa, 73, of Eloy and Casa Grande died on March 4, 2023, in Arizona City, with her loved ones by her side.
Mrs. Figueroa was born on Nov. 22, 1949, in Casa Grande and was a daughter of Faustino and Eleanor Zaragoza. She was a loving mother and loved everybody. Her door was always open to everyone she knew. Most of all she loved all her grandchildren.
She spent most of her life with a beer in her hand. She loved to listen to oldies, drink and dance with all her family and friends. She was the life of the party with all her little sayings and nicknames she gave everyone. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every bit of it.
Survivors include three adult children, Steve Marez, Adela Castillo and Ernestina “India” Figueroa, all of Casa Grande; four siblings, Yolanda Ortega of Casa Grande, Andy Zaragoza of Chandler, Lydia Zaragoza of Casa Grande and Eleanor Zaragoza of Arizona City; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ruben Figueroa; a daughter, Stephanie Marez; a son, Patrick Marez; two sisters, Teresa Espinoza and Gloria Zaragoza; and two brothers, Faustino and Paul Zaragoza.
Funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 24, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church.
