FLORENCE — Oscar J. Sepulveda, 87, of Florence died peacefully at home on June 5, 2019, surrounded by family.
Mr. Sepulveda was a son of Rosendo and Mary Sepulveda, a 30-year member of a California carpenter’s union and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He loved hunting and camping with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Cruzetta; five daughters, Rosa Blanco and Maria Bruninga of Florence, Belinda, Melissa and Michelle Sepulveda of Tucson; a son, Louie Sepulveda of Tucson; two stepsons, Justin Armstrong of Lorena, Texas, and Joseph Armstrong of Florence; seven sisters, Adeline Arney, Marcella Gallagher, Evangeline Cathemer, Eleanor Padilla, Bertha Lizarraga, Rosemary and Hilda Sepulveda; a brother, Johnny Salazar; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Memorial Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at Assumption Catholic Church in Florence.
