FLORENCE — Marilyn Jean “Mimi” Dohrman, 80, died peacefully at home on Aug. 5, 2019.
Mrs. Dohrman was born on Sept. 20, 1938, to Francis and Walter Koebel. She served the Florence Unified School District for over 35 years as a bus driver and special education teaching assistant before retiring in 2010. She was a child of God and followed her faith throughout her life, always finding comfort in his word.
She treasured her grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by her five adult children, Tina Buchanan, Dana Smithson, Brian Dohrman and Dean Dohrman, all of Arizona, and Charlene Renee Robb of Colorado, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, and a sister, Charlotte.
