SACATON — Marshall Darrell Phillips, 73, of Sacaton died on Jan. 31, 2021.
Mr. Phillips was born on Aug. 7, 1947, in Sacaton and was a son of Jasper M. Donahue and Gretta Meyers. He was known for his sarcastic humor. He loved long car rides, sunrises and sunsets.
He was a churchgoing man who emphasized the importance of serving God. He loved and cherished his grandkids and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by four daughters, Stephanie Linklater of Tempe, Shirley Martinez of Phoenix, Debbie Ariaz of Phoenix and Teresa Phillips of Laveen; a brother, Russell Phillips of Salt River; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six siblings.
