ELOY — Manuel Adolfo Vazquez, 23, of Eloy died on Nov. 14, 2021, in Tucson. His brother Luis Antonio Vazquez, 24, of Eloy died on Nov. 14, 2021, also in Tucson.

Manuel loved his family and spending time with them as well as taking very good care of his loved ones. Everyone saw him as the light of the party as he loved listening to music. He was very involved with sports and was a football player while he was in high school.

At the time of his death he had been in the Army for four years as a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Rosa Amelia Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Jasmin Vazquez; his mother, Migdalia Martinez Hernandez; his father, Luis Vazquez; a sister and brother, Lizeth Vazquez and Abraham Vazquez; and his grandmother Martha Hernandez, all of Eloy. His brother Luis Vazquez and cousins Marco Martinez and Juan Martinez also died.

Luis loved to go off-road driving in his vehicle. He enjoyed spending time with his son, traveling and going to Mexico to visit family. He also loved hanging out with his friends and going out to eat. Many would call him a jokester, as he loved telling jokes and laughing with people for fun.

He loved his son with all of his heart, his son was his world and he would do anything for him.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Rosa Amelia Hernandez. He is survived by his son, Armani Vazquez; his mother, Migdalia Martinez Hernandez; his father, Luis Vazquez; a sister and brother, Lizeth Vazquez and Abraham Vazquez; and his grandmother Martha Hernandez, all of Eloy. His brother Manuel Vazquez and cousins Marco Martinez and Juan Martinez also died.

Funeral Mass for all celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Burial in Eloy Memorial Park.
