Mrs. Stuive was born on April 18, 1937, in Kanopolis, Kansas, to John and Katherine (Gwinner) Gust. She married Delbert Stuive on Aug. 30, 1958, and they celebrated 61 years of marriage this year. She was a parts person for Ginder Hydraulic in Salina, Kansas, and later worked for a coffee company.
