MARICOPA — Macky L. McCauley Sr., 61, of Maricopa died on June 23, 2019.
Mr. McCauley was born on June 10, 1958, in Rockford, Illinois. He retired from Exelon Corporation after 35 years in 2013 and moved to Minong, Wisconsin, where he loved to ride snowmobiles and ATVs and visit with friends. He moved to Maricopa in February 2018.
He enjoyed hiking and cooking and coached junior tackle football, softball and baseball. He enjoyed all sports, especially football and tailgating at Lambeau Field prior to Packers games. He enjoyed travel to Jamaica and was very family oriented. He would lend a helping hand to anyone.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Darcee L.; a son, Macky McCauley Jr. of Roscoe, Illinois; three stepchildren, Jamie McCauley of North Carolina, Ryan Saddler of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Jennifer Hanson of Illinois; two sisters, Dolly McCauley Gunderson of South Beloit, Illinois, and Debra McCauley of Loves Park, Illinois; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha M. and Melvin D. McCauley, and grandparents, Byron and Edna McCauley and Harry and Freda LaQue.
Memorial service later in Roscoe, Illinois.
