CASA GRANDE — Dolores "Lolita" Sánchez, 84, of Casa Grande and formerly a longtime resident of Marana, died on Sept. 7, 2019.
Mrs. Sánchez was a daughter of Carlos and Rosa Leon. Deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, she was a member of Guadalupanas at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Marana. She was devoted to her family and touched the hearts of many.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading Spanish magazines and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving, caring person, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, José L., on July 3; a brother, Francisco; and a sister, María. Survivors include eight sons and daughters, Ramon L. Sánchez of Arizona City, Jose J. Sánchez of Marana, Carlos A. of Fruita, Colorado, Lourdes M. Ortega of Casa Grande, Alfonso Sánchez of Litchfield Park, Maria D. Enciso of Phoenix, Graciela A. Rodarte of Casa Grande and Francisco J. Sánchez of Casa Grande; three siblings, José Jesús of Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, Edilia Limón of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, and Evita Legaspy of Mexicali, Baja California; 25 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Funeral Mass celebrated at 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
