COOLIDGE — Lois Marie Casselbury, 68, of Coolidge died on Dec. 29, 2020, at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa due to respiratory complications with the COVID-19 virus.
Ms. Casselbury was born on May 30, 1952, in Syracuse, New York, and was a daughter of Asa "Mike" and Harriet Haaf Casselbury. She attended Coolidge High School. For 30 years, she worked in nursing at Central Arizona Medical Center until she retired due to a disability.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Coolidge. She was known for her warmth and laughter, her love of world history and literature, her desire to help others and for her beloved bird companions who always got a word in anytime she spoke with someone. For everyone, she had a kind word and something important to teach.
Survivors include a sister, Nanette Lowery of Athens, Pennsylvania, and a niece, Tasha Casselbury of Gilbert.
