SACATON — Leonora Mae Pratt, 90, died on Aug. 27, 2019, in Chandler.
Mrs. Pratt was born on Oct. 19, 1928, to Milda Davis in Sacaton. A well-educated career woman, she was the first Gila River tribal member to become a dental technician at the hospital in Sacaton.
She was a devoted Christian and loved to sing in the choir. She was devoted to her family.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Victor L.; a daughter and three sons, Jacqueline Garcia, Roger, Howard and Bradley Pratt; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children, Gorden L. Enos and Victoria L. Pratt, and two siblings, Gerard Davis and Emil Preston.
Funeral at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at First Presbyterian Church in Sacaton, with burial in Sacaton East Cemetery.
