ARIZONA CITY — Julie Emiline Thornhill, 70, of Arizona City died on Sept. 22, 2019.
Mrs. Thornhill was born on July 21, 1949, in Wickenburg to William L. and Hazel V. Nutter. Over the years, she was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, pack leader and friend. She was known as strong, fierce and a force to be reckoned with. Not only to her children and grandchildren, but to all she met and in every aspect of life, she was a teacher, mentor, leader and their biggest supporter.
She touched many lives young and old, leaving a lasting impression on them. She strived to be the very best in everything she accomplished. She was principled, compassionate, funny, witty, caring and full of love and life. Her family always looked forward to her cooking, and she loved to be outdoors and had a knack for crafting.
She was preceded in death by a son, William M. Thornhill, and is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles E.; a son and daughter, Christopher E. Thornhill and Julie M. Hernandez; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
