COOLIDGE — Judy Laird, 66, died on May 31, 2021.
Ms. Laird was raised in Lawton, Oklahoma, and later came to Coolidge, where she lived for the past 50-plus years. She was raised in the Lord by her parents, Donald J. and Maud A. O'Dell.
She was a hard worker, great provider and had a heart of gold. In her earlier years she competed in barrel racing, and she had a great love for her horses and other animals, especially her dogs. She was a mother to many in the community and extended her hand to anyone and everyone.
Survivors include six daughters and sons, Shannon Woodard of Coolidge, Donnie Laird of Syracuse, New York, Michael Laird of Coolidge, Kyla Coil of Eloy, Athena Duncan of Eloy and Allen Laird of Coolidge; a longtime friend of her son, Waylon Armstrong, whom she took in; a brother, Patrick O'Dell; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, at Reach Community Church in Coolidge, with fellowship meal to follow.
