CASA GRANDE — John Henry Archambault, 72, of Casa Grande died on Oct. 7, 2019.

Mr. Archambault was a son of Philias F. and Ruth E. Archambault. He proudly served four years in the Navy during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he joined the Army National Guard in Arizona, serving 22 years. He was a life member and past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1677 in Casa Grande and a member of an American Legion post in New Hampshire since 1965.

He graduated from a police academy at Central Arizona College and enjoyed many hobbies such as woodworking, gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and Boy Scouts. He was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church and most of all enjoyed get-togethers with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Agnes Glenn, and is survived by his wife, Ollie M.; a daughter and son, Margaret Maria Serratt and Eric John Archambault of Casa Grande; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Celebration of life later, with inurnment in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
