CASA GRANDE — Isabel Y. Perez, 54, of Casa Grande died on May 2, 2019, in Phoenix.
Ms. Perez was born on Feb. 13, 1965, in Florence and raised in Casa Grande, where she attended Palo Verde Elementary School and Casa Grande Union High School. She was a beautiful, loving and loyal mother, even to those not her own. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, gardening, staying busy, volunteering in church and in other activities, always thinking of others.
She loved listening to her music late into the night while dancing and singing in good spirits. She taught others to be strong and not to cry when times were hard. She was known as a true peacemaker and a pillar of the family.
Survivors include five daughters, Annabel L. Ybarra, Christina I. Perez, Alicia L. Skinner-Gipson, Ashley D. Skinner and Avon M Skinner; two sons, Fernando and Jacinto J. Perez; a stepson, Joseph Perez; five sisters, Amelia Nava Tascano, Frances Nava Garcia, Mercedes "Mercy" Nava Perez Jimenez, Thomasa Brown and Carrie Burgess; a brother, George Burgess; and 21 grandchildren, with two more expected. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Tommy Skinner, and her mother, Frances Ramirez.
Memorial service at noon on Saturday, June 8, at Victory Chapel, with Pastor Angel Morales officiating.
