ELOY — Georgina Anne "Gina" Johnson, 73, of Eloy died, with her loving family by her side after a valiant fight with cancer, on Jan. 22, 2023.
Mrs. Johnson was born on March 29, 1949, in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, to George L.C. Selmes and Elsie D. Savanko. She was an artist and a member of the Gourd Club at Robson Ranch. She made several beautiful gourds that won awards and many of her works were auctioned off for charity. She was a creative painter of both wall murals and classic oil paintings.
She also ran a ladies weekly Bible study group and brought many to the Lord by her excellent example of how to be happy in life and marriage. She enjoyed her dog, Little Fritzy. As an avid gardener, she and Ron always had fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers growing throughout the year.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; a son and two daughters, James, Bonnie and Heather; and five grandchildren.
Celebration of life at noon on March 18 at the Robson Ranch Fireside Room.
Donations may be made in her memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
